To create a featured menu item in Indigo, add your menu items as you would normally do, and then add Indigo’s featured item class to the item you want to.

1. Navigate to Appearance » Menus.
2. Click on the Screen Options tab on the upper side of the screen. Look into the “Show advanced menu properties” section, and make sure that the “CSS Classes” option is checked.
3. Expand the item you want to feature, and fill in the “CSS Classes (optional)” input with one of the two featured classes:
   Use ‘feat-menu-background‘ for a full background item, or ‘feat-menu-border‘ for a bordered one.
4. Click on Save Menu to save changes.
